Predators have new head coaches for volleyball and cross country

North Augusta Lemuel Lackey is set to begin his sixth season as the football head coach at Fox Creek High School. He has yet to post a winning season, but after the Predators went 4-6 last season, Lackey feels they are close.

And why does he feel that way? Because of his coaching staff and the work it has put in during summer workouts.

“I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for having the opportunity to work with some of the best coaches and amily men in South Carolina,” Lackey said. “Their dedication and commitment to our plyers this summer hve been exceptional. They have invested countless hours teaching and sharing their football knowledge, which has been invaluable to our team’s development.

“As a coaching staff, we have a clear vision for our future and are eager to take the next step with our football program. The foundation built this summer will certainly pave the way for our ongoing success.”

Fox Creek returns both of its defensive coordinators. David Griffin will run the defense while David Sammons is in charge of the offense.

Kenny Andrews will coach the wide receivers, Floyd Norman will handle the running backs, Aaron Ray will coach the defensive line, Zack McGhee will coach the linebackers, Maurice Woody will coach the defensive backs, and Wayne Mitchem will coach the outside linebackers.
