SCISA Girls Basketball Races Take Shape

Goose Creek, S.C. - At this writing on January 15,2026 the SCISA Girls basketball races are taking shape in all classifications.

In Class 4-A can Trinity Collegiate (2-5) defend their title? Can last season’s runners-up First Baptist (15-8) make it to the finals again?


At this writing the top five teams in order are Northwood Academy (17-1), First Baptist (15-8), Ben Lippen (13-6), Hammond (10-3) and Wilson Hall (11-4).



In Class 3-A can Pee Dee Academy (4-5) defend their title? Can last season’s runners-up Orangeburg Prep (10-3) make it to the finals again?


At this writing the top five teams in order are Florence Christian (10-2), Orangeburg Prep (10-3), Greenwood Christian (5-3), Patrick Henry Academy (6-5) and St. Johns Christian (8-7).


In Class 2-A can Cross Schools (12-4) defend their title? Can last season’s runners-up Laurens Academy (15-1) make it to the finals again?


At this writing the top five teams in order are Laurens Academy (15-1), Cross Schools (12-4), Dorchester Academy (10-2), King’s Academy (9-5) and Lee Academy (6-4).


In Class 1-A can Curtis Baptist (7-3) defend their title? Can last season’s runners-up Wardlaw Academy (5-3) make it to the finals again?


At this writing the top five teams in order are Curtis Baptist (7-3), Wardlaw Academy (5-3), Jefferson Davis Academy (4-2), Richard Winn Academy (4-6) and Holly Hill Academy (4-8).


The top point makers so far this season are Ryan Mayers (Cross) 335, Maliyah Birch (Northwood) 329, Jada Bates (Northwood) 279, Audrey Wadford (Williamsburg) 236, Maddie Coker (Northside Christian) 209 and Kylie Finley (St. Johns Christian) 205.
