Sumter – The Wilson Hall boys and girls track and field teams both dominated the SCISA Region 2-AAAA meet held on Wednesday at Wilson Hall’s Spencer Field.
The Wilson Hall boys won with 149.5 points followed by Camden Military with 42.5, Laurence Manning Academy with 42 and Trinity Collegiate with 40. In the girls meet, Wilson Hall had 189 while LMA and Trinity Collegiate both had 44.
Hugh Humphries led the way for the Wilson Hall boys with first-place finishes in the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Humphries won the high jump with a height of 6 feet, 6 inches, the long jump with a jump of 19-07.50 and the triple jump with a jump of 39-04.
The Barons’ Tucker Burnette won two individual events and ran legs on two of the winning relay teams. Burnette won the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 18.85 seconds, and the 400 hurdles in a time of 1 minute, 03.86 seconds.
Burnette also ran legs on the winning 4x100 and 4x400 teams. The 4x1 team of Burnette, Miles Van Patten, Harris Naylor and Blake VanPatten won in 44.85. Burnette combined with Ben Rabon, Jennings Frerichs and Jack Gratz to win the 4x4 in 3:43.82.
Rabon also won two individual events. He won the 1,600-in a time of 4:48.77 and the 800 in 2:04.37.
Gibb Wilder won the pole vault with a height of 9-0. The 4x8 team of Gavin Getz, Frerichs, Gratz and Caulder Williamson won in 9:23.55.
Molly Jones won four events to lead the Lady Barons. She won the 100 hurdles in 17.33, the 100 in 13.29, the 400 in 1:01.01 and the 200 in 26.98.
Jane McAdams won the 400 hurdles 1:13.90 and the long jump in 15-07, while Aubrey Payne won the discus at 116-06 and the shot put at 32-05.
Mary Ellen Thorne won the 3,200 in 12:57.61, McKinley Bath won the high jump at 5-0, Camryn Wilmes won the triple jump at 33-06 and Clara Hulshizer won the pole vault at 7-0.
The 4x8 relay team of Ellis Coker, Campbell Williams, Jane Foley and Abby Bradley won in 11:28.04. The 4x1 team of Wilmes, Lucy Buxton, Ava Bukauskus and Ella Still won in 53.68. The 4x4 relay team of Still, Emma Howle, McAdams and Bradley won in 4:23.83.

Third Place: Cordin Nattrass 3,200, pole vault; Miles Van Patten 100; Harris Huffman 400 hurdles; Ford Wilder high jump; Knox Burton long jump, triple jump, Eric Brown javelin.
Fourth Place: Ayres 1,600; Joseph Hiott 400; Gratz 800; Burton triple jump; Craig Busch javelin; Thomas Jones pole vault; Harris Naylor, Ford Wilder tie long jump.
Fifth Place: Aiden Bradford 3,200; Naylor 200; Hiott high jump; Burton discus; Reese Wilson shot put.
GIRLS
Second Place: Emmie Williamson 3,200; Bowen Zitzke 100 hurdles; Bailey Flemming 100, 200, triple jump, Thorne 1,600, Ellis Coker 800, Bradley high jump, Anna Kate Coker pole vault.
Third Place: Mary Foley 3,200, 1,600; Bradley 400, Zitzke 400 hurdles; Grace Stewart high jump; Logan Mims triple jump; Maggie Norris discus; Payne javelin.
Fourth Place: Riley Coker 3,200; Emma Corrigan 100 hurdles; Wilmes 100, long jump; Williamson 1,600; Flemming 400; Abrielle Naylor 400 hurdles, triple jump; Thorne 800; Olivia Cogswell high jump, Livie Pederson discus; Kate-Austen Kaneft pole vault, Bath javelin.
Fifth Place: Naylor 100 hurdles; Riley Coker 1,600; Elisa Getz 400 hurdles; Jane Foley 800; McAdams 200; Mims long jump, javelin; Sofia Dall’Erta triple jump; Pederson pole vault.
