Roebuck – Dorman High School had 11 student-athletes earn All-State honors in their respective fall sports.
Seniors Nathan Edwards and Noah Yarborough and juniors Andrew Cleland and Tyler Davis earned spots on the AAAAA boys cross country All-State team. Edwards, Yarborough and fellow senior Miles Brooks were selected to run in the Shrine Bowl run.
Yarborough was named the Region 2 Runner of the Year and was joined on the All-Region team by Edwards, Cleland, Davis, Brooks, junior Cam Bailey and junior Joseph McBride.
Freshman Haley Ruth made the girls cross country All-State team. Senior Elizabeth Ludwick was selected for the Shrine Bowl run, and eighth-grader Evyn Kate Dill was named the Region Runner of the Year. Other All-Region performers besides those three were sophomore Lexsy Barrientos, freshman Ella Bowen, senior Hailey Lane and freshman Avalie Workman.
Eighth-grader AC Peake made the girls golf All-State team. Sophomore Ava Romansky was selected the Region Player of the Year and she was joined on the All-Region team by senior Maddie Carraway and junior Londyn Ruth.
Seniors Brett Bailey, Caleb Bailey, Cole Smith and junior Ross Burns earned spots on the AAAAA boys swim All-State team. The Baileys shared Region Swimmer of the Year honors and were joined on the All-Region team by Burns, Smith, senior Ray Busby, senior Biggs Fowler, senior Jackson Peeler and senior Douglas Reid.
The final Dorman All-State performer is Carly O’Brien for the AAAAA state champion volleyball team. She was also named the Region Player of the Year. She was joined on the All-Region team by fellow seniors Katie Camp and Ryleigh Willard, juniors Sophia Warren and Kayla O’Brien and sophomore Ramsey Larke Chastain.
Carly O’Brien and Willard were selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game.
Sophomore Lucas Helle was selected as the boys volleyball Region Player of the Year. He was joined on the All-Region team by juniors Logan Washer and Austyn Turley and sophomore Elii Mullins.
Making the All-Region team in football were seniors Brannon Teamer, Terrell Edwards, Tra’Von Fernandez, Cason Gilliam and Owen Hendricks and sophomores Kentavion Anderson and Kadarus Hainsworth.
Teamer was selected to play in the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl, and Andrew Gregory was chosen as the equipment manager for the South Carolina Shrine Bowl team.
Selected to the competitive cheer All-Region team were seniors T’Nija Downing and Ella Nichols, junior Madison Corley, sophomores Kimber Hall and Madison Nittel and eighth-grader Abygayle Kromanaker.
Making the girls swim All-Region team were seniors Jennifer Charles, Ashlyn McLain and Lyndsey Nielsen, junior Chloe Bishop, sophomores Ty Austin and Allie Parker and freshman Lucy Burns.
Four players were selected to the girls tennis All-Region team. They were senior Hannah Hembree, juniors Hayden Lawson and Ella Perry and sophomore Isabel Helms.
